Therapeutic Approaches

Cognitive Behaviour
Therapy (CBT)

A widely used therapy focusing on identifying and challenging unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours to promote positive change.

Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy (ACT)

A mindfulness-based therapy that emphasises accepting difficult thoughts and feelings while committing to actions aligned with personal values.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR)

A therapy used to process distressing memories and alleviate symptoms associated with trauma.

Schema Therapy (ST)

Focuses on identifying and replacing maladaptive schemas - broad cognitive frameworks developed early in life that shape how a person perceives themselves, others, and the world.
